SUMMER 2011

This has been one of the most amazing summers of my life, it's been one of the happiest summers of my life. I do believe that one of the major reasons, that made this summer so amazing was that four years after flunking atleast one subject, I finally passed all my subjects, and could enjoy my summer to the limit.

The summer had a wonderfull, for I bought a new bike and after two years with no bike, i finally had one. I remember that from the day on I've rarley left my house without my bike. The first few weeks were the calmest that I've ever been. All I did was, ride my bike, go to the beach, paint walls, and party through the night, and let the time role away slowly. i do believe that these were the best times in summer, maybe because it was just the begining of summer, or maybe because i took everything with so much pacience.

When a few weeks pased, my trip to Mallorca began, ou yeah. Mallorca was awsome. First I was a week in Magaluf, and Palmanova, the second week we went up to Alcudia, much better place by the way.Everyday, sunny paradisatic mediteranean beaches, great food, swimmingpool, and great night clubs. Every day was a cxhallenge for my body, just a little more, don't fall asleep yet, not yet. There I got my dreadlocks done, a very tedious thing. It took nearly five hours to get the finished, but i was well entertained during all this time, great conversation, great movies, great concert movies, and great food.

After two weeks in Mallorca it was time to go back. I was a few days in my hometown Berango, tryuing to catch up with my friends, but most of them were out. So it was just 3 of us for those nice sunny days. After a passed my remaining vacations, in my summer house in Ajo. Paradise. Every now and then I would go back to party, especially for "fiestas de Bilbao" the most intensive two weeks of my life.

I returned to ajo for a few days and came back to Berango a few days before the new school year began. And now I find myself with my summer vacations finished, and a new school course ahed of me, it is the last one, I guess I'll miss this school alot...

WHAT IS A WIKI?

Have you ever asked yourself, what is a wiki?A wiki is a website in witch all the pages can be edited in a web browser, by anyone who is reading it. It uses a simplified language called WYSIWY text editor. You can add images to them, and different security preferences can be selected, from being a public wiki or a being private. the real meaning of "Wiki" is "fast" in Hawaian dialect. If you want to start your own wiki all you need is, in the first place a computer . Secondly, you need an sufficiently fast connection to internet , as wikis are web pages. Then creat a wiki for free in the internet and use your mind to write about anything you want. You can also register in any other wiki and write in that one, you don't have to create your own to write in a wiki. There are many different wikis, some heve are huge bases of information, some uncover corrupt governments or goverment secrets, some are simpple dictionaries some are simple comical. Here is a list of the most famous wikis; Wikipedia, Wikispaces, Wikileaks, Wiktionary, Wikiquote, Wikibooks, Wikisource, Wikispecies. Meny people are confused with the differences between a Wiki, a Blog, and a Social Network. Really, they all have differences. Blogs have a single author. It is the author who posts,others comment, it has a one-to-many content. Wikis have many different authors, they are edited by a group , tha are continuousy changing and growing rapidly, and they are a form of many-to-many communication. Finally, social networks are also one-to- many communication. People can comment on your profile, see your photos and comment them, and even chat with others.
